I just got my new SUP500, and after it failed to get a fix for the first time, I decided to attempt to update the firmware, hoping it it just had an old version that could be improved on.
I downloaded the firmware file and used the Skytraq software to flash it, however my GPS will not come up. The GPS is no longer outputting NMEA and I cannot query it, so I think the firmware may have been corrupt.
Is there some way to get the SUP500 in to a distress mode or otherwise to allow me to retry the firmware update process?
