Thing+ NRF9160 Hookup Guide questions

Hi,

NOTE: I couldn’t find a better place for this post even though it’s clearly not an ESP-based SOC. Suggestions?

We’re interested in the nRF-9160 for an upcoming project.

However, a lot of links in the Hookup Guide are either dead (WRL-18298, GPS-17099, nRF5340-DK, nRF9160-DK) or lead to obsolete parts (CEL-15053, J-Link EDU Mini Programmer). Not off to a good start…

  • Is the nRF-9160 still fully active?

  • Is there an updated version of the hookup guide, or any current getting started tutorial available?

  • What H/W should one get to build a dev kit?

Yes, fully active/no current plans to discontinue…for 2 &3 it’s a mixed bag - Though we don’t carry many of those currently, here are some functional ones to get it goin:
