TinyGPS Library Won't Upload

Hi everyone!

I’ve tried to use the TinyGPS++ library without success. I’ve been trying to run the basic example in the library, but whenever I try and upload it I get the vague error message “An error occurred while uploading the sketch.” I thought the problem might have to do with library dependencies but the program compiles without an issue. I also read that the latest IDE version (1.6.10) sometimes has this problem but I still can’t get the example to work even when I take steps to fix it. Can anyone help me resolve this?

There is a “verbose” option in the Arduino IDE that results in detailed error messages. Check that box and try again.

I managed to fix the issue. I’m not sure what the problem was but I installed the previous version of the Arduino IDE and it works fine now. Thank you for your help though!
