Transmitter/Receiver Modification

I have a X10 EMTX (transmitter) and the micro sized Delphi D40 (intended receiver). I wanted to know if it were possible to mod a USART compatible mcu to the Delphi D40 which would receive the transmission from the X10 EMTX mcu. If so, how could I bind the two in the same rf or channel by setting a baudrate or some general radio frequency without disturbing any FCC regulations and patents… etc… This is something I would like to assemble from home; like a DIY, except “do it yourself after getting tremendous help from Sparkfun.” I am aware that you guys provide some neat general purpose type rf which I am looking into as well.

Thanks a whole bunch

Here http://www.qcom.com.tw/01-01/support/Mo … 252007.pdf is the Delphi D40 manual that includes the schematic and then some, port labels and other important things if you want to take a look.[/img]

I could wait for a reply as to the above posts, or maybe someone could direct me to a good 2.4 ghz compatible (non FCC compliant) receiver for sale. I’m harmless,

Thanks,

Chris

Some hoe, some way, I am almost certain that this little modem could be emulated to act as a receiver as well as the transmitted module data. I may find myself using a transeiver for this project. I just a newb, but, newbs are takin over. LOL j/k. I’m thinking that the only reason I would need a transeiver is to act as a gyro for flight stabilization. Yep, obviously, if you know you know what you know; then you know what I’m trying to do. WEll, Ill post more about it for whoever to view.

Perhaps I am on the wrong website, Thanks for the stall.
