Transmittiing DMX data wirelessly using RF12b

Hello y’all

I am trying to send data from DMX controller to a light fixture wireless using RF12b 915 MHz transceivers. I am using arduinos on both sides and an SN75176 chip to translate signal levels.

Alot of people have done this using nRF24 transceivers but i was thinking of using 915 MHz transceivers because of their better response under water. Has anyone tried it?

Any code or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
