triaxial accelerometer outputs state on sleep mode

Hi

I´ve been working on a project of tremor sensing which involves triaxial accelerometers. The sleep mode takes a very important function because the outputs (x,y,z) of two accelerometers go to 3 inputs of a DAQ.

I mean, the output X of accelerometer 1 goes to the same input of the DAQ (input 1 of the DAQ) as the output X of accelerometer 2. The output Y of accelerometer 1 goes to the same input of the DAQ (input 2 of the DAQ) as the output Y of accelerometer 2 and so on. Both sensors are always turned on with 3.5V, the difference between the two sensors is that ONLY one of them has the sleep mode active low.

My question is, what exactly happens with the outputs of an accelerometer when it is turned on, but its sleep mode is active? This question is done in order to know how much noise is affecting my input of the DAQ. By the way I´m using Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout - MMA7361

Kind regards

According to page 4 of the data sheet, the outputs are turned off during sleep.
