Hi, I am currently attempting to connect six thermistors (with voltage dividers) into channels A0-A5. However, channels A4 and A0 seem to register a different voltage than the other four channels; I believe this has to do with the QWIIC system. If I want to use these channels as a normal analog voltage reader, what do I need to do?
Hi there!
Yep, it’s the Qwiic connector that’s causing the issue. There’s some pullup resistors on A4 and A5 that are for Qwiic and those make using A4 and A5 for analog impossible.
There are some jumpers on the back of the board you can cut to disconnect A4 and A5 from the Qwiic connector and [cutting those will allow you to use A4 and A5 for analog. :-)](RedBoard Qwiic Hookup Guide - SparkFun Learn)
Okay, thank you! Any idea where I can find out how to do this? The jumpers look small and I am a beginner when it comes to soldering.
There’s a tutorial in the link below that should help.
