Using the LPC on the Data Logger Kit

Can someone tell me if the LPC Serial Boot Loader (http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc … cts_id=714 ) is able to pass messages on to the GPS module that comes as part of the GPS Data Logger kit (http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc … cts_id=657)? I see it is linked from the Kit page but I’m unsure whether it is just for communicating to the logger firmware. I really want to tinker with teh GPS, is it possible with one that comes as part of the kit or should I have bought the parts seperately?

I think I have answered my own question.

This looks like the right breakout kit to get to the GPS module - http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc … cts_id=167

and the Data Logger kit is not soldered together so you’re still able to use the GPS module on other things.

If anyone can correct/confirm this please do.
