I’m trying to find a company/consultant that will take my project that I’ve successfully done on an Ardunio Uno and a breadboard and do the sketch in CAD (I think Eagle is the most popular software) and then do the PCB Mill of it to make a final prototype out of it. Does anyone know of any or can point me in the right direction to find one?
I’m affiliated with a local job-shop that used to do contract work for Vought Aircraft, Lockheed Martin, and now Triumph aerospace. They did their own etching, CNC cutting, and wave-soldering of prototype boards. I don’t think they were a production outfit, instead focusing on prototyping of fit-to-function quality control acceptance parts and destructive / non-destructive testing.
I did some of their autocad work, taking blueprints to computer and creating the final DXF format files compatible for the CNC machines programming.
I didn’t do Q.C., but anyone in industry knows that if you comb the hair on an Orangutan, and sit him in a chair at a table, he can be taught Quality control inspection in a day or two.
I could possibly help or at least point you in the right direction, depending on what you have and how many you need, and how fast you need them.
Why don’t you just download the free version of Eagle, read some tutorials and do it yourself. It’s not that hard.
Sparkfun has some awesome tutorials for Eagle.
