What Board(s) are needed to make a Game Controller?

I’m building a PC (Win10) driving-game controller that requires both digital (on/off) and analog (potentiometer: e.g., throttle, brake, etc.) signals.

Which Sparkfun board(s) will accept those inputs and provide USB output(s)? I have several Red Boxes already, so I’d like the board(s) to fit in them, if possible.

I have made digital-only controllers (button boxes) before; boards for them are easy to find. But I’m stumped here.

Hi Chas.

You might have a look at the [Wireless Joystick Kit. Don’t let the ‘wireless’ part fool you, it works great as a USB connected device as well.

This might be a all-in-one solution for you.](SparkFun Wireless Joystick Kit - KIT-14051 - SparkFun Electronics)

I’ll try a UNO R3, which doesn’t have all the extra features and parts (and cost).
