Hi
Where do I get a cheap but nice working stencil, plastic will be ok. I have some fine pitch components on my board.
I live in EU but it is not a must the company is there too.

PCB-Pool supplies free stencils with their prototype boards.
Hello,
Never tried myself but http://www.smtstencil.co.uk seems to have very good prices for EU.

Thomas.
[EDIT] I got mines from SPCI : http://www.spci-quickproto.com/
Ryan OHara is very good quality & value at $25 per stencil:

Stencils are Kapton, which is much better than Mylar. Shipping is pretty expensive if you’re not in the US though (I think it was almost $30 last time I ordered).
[Pololu.com - Never tried em’.
I get mine real cheap, from the workplace!.. Can’t beat the price. ](Pololu - Laser-Cut Mylar SMT Stencil)

Their stencils are Mylar, which cuts much rougher than Kapton. Still useable, but I’d never go back to it…](Pololu - Laser-Cut Mylar SMT Stencil)
The free ones from PCB-Pool are stainless steel, IIRC.
I’ll add another vote for Ohararp’s stencils. That’s where I go whenever I need them, and he’s made several for me over the years.
Hi
Thanks to all. I ended up with some real nice stencil from http://www.smtstencil.co.uk.
Hello,
Can you post some photos of your stencils ?

Thomas.
