Which combination of devices will let me monitor temperature/humidty remotely over Wifi using Qwiic?

Please also suggest me a battery and an enclosure if those are also available.

Very anxious to try and replicate a product that costs us many hundreds of dollars per unit and $20/year in cloud fees.

I know battery life may not be the greatest, but that’s OK as long as the batteries are affordable or rechargeable.

Thanks so much!

So far I’m thinking these two things plus a battery and some connectors is all I need right?

Can I power this all with USB power bank? Or does it need to be a LiPo pack type thing?

You’ll need an 2.4GHz antenna too but those should all work.

power bank or a lipo would be fine for power but a lipo would be more energy efficient.

Thank you for the reply.

How would I charge the LiPo pack once it’s dead and will I be able to have the ESP32 tell me when the battery is getting low? I presume there is some kind of script I can write to monitor battery levels?

If you read the directions, there’s a battery charger built into the ESP32 thing plus. There isn’t a way to monitor battery charge though so you’d need to build an external circuit for that or use something like the [lipo fuel gauge.](SparkFun LiPo Fuel Gauge - TOL-20680 - SparkFun Electronics)
