Hi
sorry if this has been discussed/mentioned before.
I need to establish a “real” full duplex communication between a PIC and a RS232 computer. I am unsure which module I should use.
any help will be appreciated

Radio devices tend to be simplex as transmitting while receiving is problematic. Even high speed devices like WiFi do simplex transmissions. So the question becomes, do you REALLY need full-duplex? Most of the time, you don’t, so long as you can get the data packets transmitted fast enough to keep time delays down. I don’t know of any radio modules SFE sells that are true full-duplex. The only radios I’ve worked with that can do it are ham radio repeaters.

Why FDX?
are you confusing full duplex with bi-directional?
hi!
If you are really wanting to go with the full-duplex then its not much of a problem but at primary stages you should work out with simplex module. But then its youe choice and depends upon you.
Most modems would work in bi-directional not sure about full duplex
