Wifi with lots of I/O Hardware Recomendation

I’m looking to build a project where I have Wifi to an android app, and than have a good 20-40 channels of IO I can use to control mosfet’s. I’m looking for hardware recommendations for a combination that would provide this. I prefer a wifi shield with external antenna connector.

Your specification of a wifi module with 20-40 I/O pins doesn’t seem realistic to me.
