I changed some setting in my wifly and I used to be able to telnet to it through port 2000 but not I can only telnet to it in port 80 and I get a blank screen and as soon as I type in any character it ends the terminal session.
How do I fix this?
I tried pulling GPIO pin high and turning it on and it creates an adhoc network and I can only telnet to it on port 80 
Have you tried setting the port in cmd mode:
$$$
set ip localport 2000
save
reboot
You may have to use coolterm and teraterm if you cant get into cmd mode through telnet.
