WiFly Shield: Running in AP mode?

Hi,

I am looking for WiFi shield for Arduino/Netduino boards which would be not only connecting to WiFi AP, but also creating AP. My projects requires to be able to connect to internet and push gathered data or work as standalone that I could view data from smartphone or laptop via WiFi. Custom drivers for Netduino was released on Netduino [community forum, which is proven to work.

Is WiFly Shield capable of creating AP from Arduino/Netduino?

you need to update the wifly module using the inboard ftp command for OTA updates.

version 245 have a soft AP Mode, it has a dhcp but no security thought so it creates an open network
