Windows 10 is detecting Pro Micro as USB

Hello I’m having this problem where my PC detects the Pro Micro as a usb device and I can’t install any drivers for it because of it. Every time I connect my Pro Micro to my PC it detects the bootloader as a Arduino Leonardo Bootloader and then it switches back to a unidentified USB device (it couldn’t get the device description). This al means I can’t upload any Programms. I’ve allready deinstalled the usb driver multiple times, reviving the bootloader and so on. My usb kable has data lines and the usb port is a 2.0.

The Pro Micro uses the UF.2 bootloader, which makes them appear as a USB device - try running through the hookup guide here https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/pr … bootloader to see if that illustrates the setup more clearly

I’ve read though it and the thing is that i don’t have a pro micro with the RP2040 but one with an ATmega32U4 and I don’t think it will work because of it. But thank’s for the Idea.
