Windows 11 "ARM" driver for CH340 USB to Serial chips

Many SparkFun products use the CH340 USB to Serial chip.

There’s no specific “ARM” achitecture driver avalable from WCH for Windows “ARM” architecture machines. I tried installing the Intel driver, and it seemed like it installed, but the serial port didn’t perform properly.

I asked the manufacturer, and they just pointed me to the Intel driver.

Perhaps someone at SparkFun has better contacts with “WCH” (the manufacturer of the CH340) than I do and can raise this issue with them. I think this will become more of a problem as Windows 11 ARM machines get more popular.

FTDI and SiliconLabs chips just work. I know they are more expensive but I’d rather pay a buck or two more for something I know will be bulletproof.
