Basically, what i would like to do is create a small and cheap remote ignition. The remote device, when activated, would pass power to an e-match, or electric match. This would be used to safely light fireworks or model rockets from a distance. I am looking to use either a AA battery,a [.5 AA battery. It only needs about 1amp for a few seconds.
I thought of using either an FM receiver or the nRF24L01+. The wireless module would be powered on via a momentary, or dip switch when needed. And when it received a certain signal, it would then connects 2 pins allowing the battery to power the e-match.
if possible, how would i implement a “launch code” type of thing, in order to stop a stray signal from setting this off.
But i am unsure what to use, or where to start with this project. If you have any suggestions or recommendations i would love to hear them.
Thanks for any help.](http://www.batteriesandbutter.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=XL-050FAX&Category_Code=sa36v)
