Wireless weather

I’m going to be building a weather station using the proton weather shield. I would like to have 2 wireless displays (probably 4d touchscreens). Would I use 3 xbees for this, or would Bluetooth be a better idea?

From my experience, the xbees will be more straightforward to use. I assume you’re transferring only weather data and you’re driving the displays using a separate controller?

Yes, that’s what I was thinking with the 4D displays as they would be able to just accept the serial data sent from the xbees and the 4D’s do all the fancy stuff.

bluetooth range is small.

XBee PRO S1 - good range but screens need 3.3V serial input
