Has anyone else noticed Xbee ADC data jump around when using multiple ADC pins.
I have a single coordinator and single remote node. The remote node has two sensors hooked up to it. One to record temperature and another to record light level.
AD0 - LM34 sensor (pin 20)
AD1 - Photocell (cds) w/10k resistor (pin19)
Each sensor provides reasonable data independently. However, I see a large jump in temperature (30F) when the photocell is present and receiving some light.
These are the remote node settings. The coordinator connected to my laptop has the default xbee settings. Both modules are running 10CD firmware (model: XB24-ACI).
ATMY=1,SM=4,ST=3,SP=1770,D0=2,D1=2,IT=13,IR=1
Everything is at 3.3v include Vref. I am not using API mode.
If it just comes down to the Xbee ADC not being reliable enough I can switch over to a MCU for the sensor inputs and use the xbee uart for laptop communication.
