Hey Everyone,
I am using the XBEE WIFI (S6) unit to send data from an accelerometer, and it is powered via a battery pack. Anyway everything works fine 95% of the time, all the data is being sent correctly. The issue I am having is that if/when the battery pack dies then is given a new battery pack, or if the unit is unplugged then plugged back in quickly, the XBEE stops sending data. What also happens is the DOUT on the Sparkfun Explorer Regulated board becomes lit solid red when it is usually not lit at all when functioning properly. The only solution that I have found to resolve the issue is to reboot my router, which when the device is in it final use will not be an option.
I was wondering if anyone had a setting to change on the XBEE WIFI card to resolve this issue, or if a signal could be sent to the XBEE card via a UDP packet of some sort. Let me know if anyone needs anymore details to help trouble shoot this issue.
Thanks for any help.
