As a heavy vehicle workshop, we use a hydraulic lift made by ROTARY.
Out of 8 elevators, 5 have a communication error that disappears when I change the xbee module.
We ordered 8 xbee3 WRL-15130 from your site but not the USB adapter… I think I made a mistake
Since the manufacturer does not provide any technical information, I intend to retrieve the programming of a functional module using the XCTU software and reinject it into new modules.
I think I need usb adpater WRL-11812 or WRL-11697.
I’ve used the 11697 a lot and not the others but I think the 11812 (& 22043, below) only differs in connector type.
I’ve also got one of these -13225, very useful for those RS232 serial applications without USB and when you need external power broken out, the little activity lights, etc.
To be clear, I have the USB-A version that doesn’t need the -C or -Micro cables like the others. But I think that’s the only difference. (Edit: I noticed after posting that the USB-C version has the Qwiic conn and an extra hardware button, might as well get that one.)
My introduction to these Explorers was for almost the same application you described:
I bought some Xbees and found they didn’t talk in my legacy devices. I was able to read a functioning Xbee with the Explorer & XCTU, log/archive the settings which made the functioning pair work, and then write those settings to the new modules.
