XBee3 Thing Plus to fake remote control button press

I just got new skylights in my house, and one of them came with a remote to control the blinds on it because it cannot be reached. I would like to integrate it with home assistant, but I am not going to pay for the company’s ridiculously overpriced gateway to control one set of blinds. I found a guide online of someone hacking it by soldering leads from the remote to a Shelly Uni here: https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/ … t_gateway/

And it looks like the XBee3 Thing Plus might be able to do this, but with zigbee. What would the schematic for that look like? Since the board takes two AA batteries, I’m thinking the XBee3 Thing Plus can just power it directly, and then I think it would be a matter of pulsing the right output pins. Further down in that same reddit thread, another user mentions using a 500ms pulse, so perhaps that’s all that’s needed? Like this, maybe?
