XRP initialization works to motor drivers

The left drive motor ran and then stopped. The left motor is then powered if you try to move it. If you move the right wheel the left wheel moves in the optimist direction. Is this possibly a coding error?

It sounds like it…it is difficult to get the wires/connectors swapped

Which sketch are you running? Get Started - Experiential Robotics

Attached is my python code, I added some debug code but it did not seem to get that far in the code. I tried to load the micropython executable but do not think it worked.

Obviously need some help understanding some aspects of “sketches”. I did some code with the red board on other coding work.

I need some help with the python file system, suggestion on hat would be great for this 81 year old lost in time programmer.

Iconverted the py file to pdf. Wonder if that will work or how to send a sketch file.
