1 channel Relay Module- 30A 250V VAC With Optocoupler Isolation and 5V low level trigger

Hello,

I am looking for a 1 channel Relay Module- 30A 250V VAC With Optocoupler Isolation and 5V low-level trigger. It would be great if you could let me know the availability of this product at Sparkfun.

Thank you.

Hi Sarath,

The only relay we have that would fit those specifications is this [Solid State Relay - 40A (3-32V DC Input). You can view our full Relay Category [here.](Relay - SparkFun Electronics)](Solid State Relay - 40A (3-32V DC Input) - COM-13015 - SparkFun Electronics)

Thank you for your quick response. Have a great day ahead!

Hi Mark,

Sorry if this ends up being a duplicate, my last attempt to reply seems to have failed.

I think this relay will help with my application as well – I am trying to power on/power off a motor with micro switches. I had originally tried to do this using the pre-built IoT Power Relay but I think the draw from my motor is too much for it (120VAC / 60Hz / 15A / 2HP Single Phase).

I watched the demo video on this relay and it looks like all I need is the DC input to control the switch and then I can connect the house power directly to the relay side with no other controller needed? Just looking for clarification as other builds I have seen appear much more complex and this seems way to easy to be true.

Thanks!](Relay - SparkFun Electronics)](Solid State Relay - 40A (3-32V DC Input) - COM-13015 - SparkFun Electronics)

You will probably need to heat sink the module (to a heatsink or sufficient-sized metal cabinet or panel). The unit drops 1.6v when it is on, so at 15A, it will dissipate 15*1.6=24W.

As for operating it, it really is simple. All you need is a DC input.

Thank you very much for the added input and response; highly appreciated!
