.1" connectors

You should sell these connectors, they’re great for soldering to a mini arduino or a FIO and connecting them to the FTDI programmer. Also great for any removable connection to a .1" pin spacing, which you have quite a lot of:

The Samtec round-pin headers are more specialty. For instance, you can’t use the round pin receptacle with the square pins. They do make a great fit however.

They are much lower profile. The sockets have a cavity that goes through the pin, meaning you can stack boards with little wasted space.

Ah. I don’t have much wasted space when i use them as i mount components on both sides of my boards, filling the gaps between levels.

They’re only a millimeter shorter, and you’d better suggest a source of round pin breakaway headers if you’re planning to stack boards because the square pin ones aren’t going to work with those.
