Will the cable on the 5.0" TFT Display with Capacitive Touch connect with the Sparkfun edge or is another connector/cable needed?

I’m unfamiliar with that product - and it is a drop-ship item so we have not necessarily developed anything with them at SF.
What I can tell you is that the Edge has very limited I/O connections. The male pins onboard are ONLY a UART connection for programming the Apollo3 and seeing Serial output. The other 4 pins don’t include a SPI port so interfacing with other chips is difficult.
If you can I would suggest using the RedBoard Artemis ATP. It has the same microcontroller as the Edge but all the pins are available to use. Note that the ATP does not have a camera connector or accelerometer and uses different (PDM) microphones.
