Very nice product. Good idea to use SP3232 as a +5/-5v power supply, but why haven’t you connected a com port on it to provide a RS232 interface for free, even if it is not on a DB9 connector?

Hi zhudi99 - this looks great! What is the connection to the DSO-Nano?

http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc … ts_id=9625

Looks like it’s the same project that Seeed is working on.

Is this your project or something you found? I’m just trying to figure out all the background connections.

Cheers,

-Nathan

Looks slick.

Willing to divulge any details about the internal construction and enclosure? Is this custom or off the shelf?

Hi Nathan,

I just know it in a chinese BBS. Http://bbs.e-design.com.cn/

Doesn't look custom - looks like they used an MP3 player case and gutted the internals.

Nathan,

The DSO-Nano from Seeed Studio is a rebrand of the Chinese DSO201 that was posted in the first post. They’re identical units. I believe that Seeed is using different firmware, though I’m not sure. I know that they released older versions of their firmware in their forum, and many users have created GUI upgrades. But otherwise it’s a rebrand of the DSO201.

hi zhudi99, your link is dead, i found a new product called DSO203, i think it would be the updated version of DSO201, you people can have a look at this link: [http://www.diyertool.com/dso203-pocket- ... -nano.html](http://www.diyertool.com/dso203-pocket-sized-digital-oscilloscope-arm-dso-nano.html)
