A problem of connecting JTAG to the development board

HI,

when open-jtag connected the development board ,the following informations displayed in ubuntu terminal :

Is it a hardware problem?

Thanks~~ :stuck_out_tongue:

It looks like a hardware problem.

which hardware problem do you think ? JTAG interface?

It’s probably the JTAG interface. Check that you have it enabled on the chip. What board is it?

I have checked the openjtag tools,it’s ok。

the board that we use is making by ourselves, our chip is spc300,the processor of our chip is arm926js,is it the problem of our chip ?and how to check?

thanks for your answer~~~ :stuck_out_tongue:

Who makes the chip, and what is the part number? What JTAG are you using? Post a schematic for checking.

I’ve never had any problems using CrossWorks with my own LPC2106 hardware and my own parallel port JTAG. I now use a variety of ARM7 and Cortex boards with the Rowley CrossConnect Pro JTAG. An Amontec USB JTAG also works OK.

the Spicom company makes the chip ,the number is scr310, :stuck_out_tongue:

thanks!

I’ve never heard of it and can’t find it with Google!

URL?

I have question about the nTRST of JTAG interface.

when openJTAG isn’t connected to the JTAG interface, the voltage of nTRST pin is high level?

I don’t know. It’s not used on any of the ARM boards I have.
