The Pacific Display Devices CDM-04101 and CDM-04105 tiny LCD displays are a super product that Sparkfun should sell. They don’t seem to be available anywhere in small quantities. They are four digit (CDM-04101) or four character (CDM-04105) tiny LCD displays with an I2C controller builtin.
