I have been experimenting with the ACS723 (Hi Current version) and wish to incorporate it into a new design of mine. My initial thoughts were to simply purchase the boards from SparkFun and “plug” them into my circuit card. The issue I have is that I will be monitoring 120VAC at up to 5 amps. I think I found somewhere that your boards are not recommended for this voltage level.
Now I am looking at either the possibility of working with SparkFun to get a special version of the board or doing the design and production at my end.
So the economics always drives everything and in order to decide I need to know if it is possible to get a price from SparkFun on a 120VAC version of the board or if that is not an option; would the detailed parts list, Gerbers, etc. be available under the open source protocol?

Ron
Greetings. Thanks for posting on the forums.
Generally speaking we don’t have a good way to collaborate with our community on designing products and similar services. We do have a sort of product pitch process, however, we require that you do a bit more leg work on the product before we get involved:

I think your best bet is to hire an individual who is comfortable with high voltage applications. A retired engineer, someone at your local hackerspace or an aspiring EE at a local university would be good places to start. You can also try Googling contractors as well.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can do anything else.
Thanks John,
Are the parts list, Gerbers, board layout data and etc. available?

The Eagle files are available, and from them you can generate the gerbers and other needed data.
Hi Brandon,
I am having trouble with the Eagle file on the product page. I downloaded it and unzipped it and there is only the schematic and bill of materials that shows up.
My software application is DipTrace and according to it importing the Eagle file should bring the components and the patterns for each.
Am I doing something wrong or is it possible for you to send those items?
