I’ve worked with pneumatics for years and I decided to start a [site exploring using pneumatics (and perhaps micro hydraulics) with Arduino for animation and general fun.
So, those of you reading this that have wondered about how to get started using pneumatics, what kind of topics or information should I include? This will be an ongoing thing but it’s very likely that I will forget to mention stuff that is so obvious to me that I don’t even think about it.](http://www.cedarlakeanimation.com)
Ah yes, I really don’t find it hard to integrate Arduino and pneumatics. I just use an Arduino to control relays which control air valves. I attached some pics of the use of Bimba air cylinders to move an arm for my humanoid robot that I’ve been working for a while now.
And Sparkfun, is it really necessary to throw a 413 error when an image is too large wiping out everything I typed? PHPBB3 has a way of doing it without harming the user…

That looks like a fun project. Did you do all the fabrication yourself?
I guess you’re talking to me. Yes it’s my design and build…
I have been asked by several members here to post pics of it. I have the full body with arms and head but at the moment it’s disassembled. I will get it assembled soon, hopefully…
