I have been using COM-12959 for activating/inactivating 5V solenoid.
Unfortunately, I found the product (COM-12959) is discontinued.
Would there be a alternative for this product or for the PCB board at least?

Not readily, though we do make the schematic available https://cdn.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Components/General/MOSFET_PowerControlKit_v11.pdf and you could easily order some bare boards online and the substitute the mosfet on there and populate the connectors to make some

You can find these in eBay or Amazon from all sorts of Chinese suppliers (same design as it is open source and generic) - example → Amazon.com: Gikfun RFP30N06LE TO-220 Mosfet Power Control DIY Kit.
You can also find some similar alternatives at Pololu ( Pololu Power Switches) and Adafruit ( Adafruit Push-button Power Switch Breakout : ID 1400).
