If I use a calibrated antenna and upload and/or select the model on the dropdown list for a Mosiac X5 GPS Receiver board do I also need to enter the ARP North, East, and Up values or are those implied by selecting the model?
The ARP (Antenna Reference Point) values for North, East, and Up may be predefined in the receiver’s firmware or software. However, this can vary depending on the specific implementation by the receiver’s software. You may still need to manually input the ARP North, East, and Up values, especially if the installation specifics of your antenna (e.g., mounting structure, exact positioning) are different from a standard setup.
IF that is the case can you please educate me on how they should be calculated and entered? My antenna is currently in a poor location on the edge of a metal roof but I will be moving it to an open grassy area soon and redoing my survey.
