Anyone else had issues wiring up the SX1509 I²C GPIO expander?

Hey all, I’m messing around with the SX1509 I²C expander and running into trouble. I’ve got SDA/SCL hooked up, power and ground are solid, but I’m not getting any response on the bus. Tried different addresses (0x3E / 0x3F) and still nothing shows up in the I²C scanner.

I’m not sure if it’s wiring, pull-ups, or maybe I’m missing something in the datasheet. Has anyone here worked with this chip before and run into similar issues?

Thanks you everyone! Turned out it wasn’t my wiring but something I overlooked in the documentation. I eventually found a reference that cleared it up — SX1509BIULTRT datasheet
