Aoyue Hot air rework station questions

Just a quick question about the Aoyue Lead free hot air rework/soldering station. The picture posted on sparkfun looks nothing like the station on the manufacturer’s website http://www.aoyue.com/en/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=329 even though they have the same part number. If I order one, which version of the station will I get? The newer version on the manufacturer’s site of the older model pictured here?

On a side note, to anyone who’s bought one; how is the quality on these things? $270 is a lot to spend, so I want to make sure it will last.

I have the same one at work. I normally only use it to desolder stuff using the hot air.

Obviouslly it doesn’t feel as solid as say a $5,000+ PACE system, but for the price, you really can’t go wrong. Never hand much trouble with it, it heats up fast and regulates fair well. The only thing I have to say is its a bit annoying is that the heads for the hot air gun are akward to change.

If you take good care of it I’m sure it’ll last you…
