Arduino MEGA 1280 problem? Tx Rx light not blinking.

Hi, i just got back my arduino board. Before this when there’s any transmission, the Tx and Rx light will blink simultaneously. But now whenever i plug in power source to the Arduino (USB/Supply) both TX and RX light will just light up as though it’s the power LED. whenever i upload a sketch into the board, both lights will just blink together (not simultaneously). And before this it was assign to port COM6, but then now it’s automatically changed to COM7. whats wrong with the board?

Before this, using the WiFly shield and the WebServer sketch. I’m able to associate with my router and able to communicate with it via browser. But then now it can still connect to my router network but unable to communicate with the Wifly via browser… Could this due to the TX and RX thingy? :frowning:

If you disconnect your mega from everything that’s on it, upload blink, will you see the same problem on the Tx Rx LEDs?

Does the Blink sketch actually get uploaded successfully and run?

I would enquire of your friend if anything happened to the board while it was in their possession. :slight_smile:
