RedBoard Plus will not upload any program . The TX led flashes and the RX led doesn't then error.

HELLO,

When I try to upload any sketch to the RedBoard PLUS the following occurs: The program compiles then the “uploading” message appears. The TX Led flashes, the RX does not flash. I then get an error message. I tried a different USB-C cable with the same result. I tried the other PORT with the same outcome. On the Arduino IDE I have “UNO” selected. I have a selection of PORT 2, 5 and 6. I tried them all. I installed an MEGA 2560 and all the programs I loaded compiled, uploaded and worked.

The Power Light is on constantly.

The pin 13 Led flashes blue every few seconds constantly.

The TX LED flashes green about every 3 seconds constantly

The RX never lights up of flashes.

Can anyone please help?

Hmmm…have you hit the physical reset button?

Also try to run through some of the steps here https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/re … okup-guide - you may have a corrupt bootloader, ensure that the correct LED flashes @ power-on indicating such/re-flash if necessary (link in hookup guide)

If nothing in that guide fixes it, you may need to head over to Return Policy - SparkFun Electronics and fill out the form (if purchased from us; contact distributor if bought from them)
