Can someone point me to the correct programmer on sparkfun for a 5V Arduino pro mini?

Hello ypearson,

There are several methods you can use to program the pro mini. I would suggest reading over our [Getting Started Guide. That tutorial uses the 3.3V Pro Mini as an example, but you would look to get the 5V FTDI Basic instead.

that the Arduino PRO MINI has no USB interface on board which means it cannot be programmed through your laptop USB COMM PORT. However in order to make programming easier and handy the manufacturers have released a module that acts as the bridge between USB and UART.
