Arduino Uno cannot attach to baseplate - SparkFun Inventor's Kit for Arduino Uno - v4.1

Hi

The kit is great, however the supplied Arduino Uno board is already mounted in a clear plastic mount and the screws are too short to pass through the extra depth created by that enclosure to reach the screw mount points on the base-plate. The pictures in the SIK show a redboard that is not mounted on a similar clear mount.

Please advise how this is intended that that arduino uno be mounted to the baseplate.

Thanks

On thing I could do is to buy some screws with the depth below the head greater those those supplied. Does anyone know what the accurate dimensions (head diameter, thread size) of the screws supplied with the kit for attaching the board to the base plate?

You just need to pop off the clear base plate on the Uno and then it will mount to our base plate.
