Hey all. So I just recently bought the ARM-USB-OCD programmer and I am trying to use it now. Previously, I have used a serial port to communicate with my LPC2106 on my desktop. I’m hoping to do most of my development from a laptop so I really need the serial port on the Olimex programmer. Using the Phillips Flash Utility, I cannot program the LPC2106 via the serial port on the Olimex programmer… Has anyone gotten this to work before?
In addition, when I try and run the OCD demo, it fails. Any suggestions?

The serial port on ARM-USB-OCD works fine. If you are using Windows you have to install the drivers contained in “Your_OpenOCD_path”\driver\arm_usb_ocd . Then you will need to verify which COM port windows assigned to the port and/or change it to whatever free COM port number that you want to use. I never tried any demo, but OpenOCD works fine with ARM-USB-OCD when you have all the drivers installed correctly.

Maybe you did the same mistake as I did.
