I’m considering to buy an ARM-USB-ODC, to use with a CH3SNAS NAS device.
Now, while I’m quite confident the JTAG port is reachable, I have some doubt on the serial/UART interface.
As stated [here (The DNS 323 is another branding of the same unit), the available serial port is a 3.3V TTL port, for which a level convertor is needed. Some suggestions are made for devices with a fixed 3.3 V level convertor, but I’m not sure whether that fix is needed, or the +3.3V pin on the device can be used to adjust the level.
In the documentation of the ARM-USB-ODC is stated that it can be used for 2 to 5 V ARM targets, but it seems that text is concerning the JTAG interface.
