Are the Artemis Modules blank chips or are they pre-loaded? And if not what pins do I need to add to a breakout board to program it
The modules ship blank; refer to this guide (or its updated version linked at top) https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ar … 1643964608 for info on how to install the board definitions and upload some code - pins are here https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/8/7/5/3 … _Guide.pdf ; whether or not you’d need a breakout/controller to program it depends on how it is being programmed…generally, I’d recommend a full board over the module, as they have integrated USB controllers and plenty of other value-added features
