Artemis Redboard ATP: Halloween Is Coming! Pin sanity check before blowing up LED display RF remote

Hello SparkFun Gurus,

Halloween is coming and I’m working to use an Artemis Redboard ATP to control an RF remote for an LED display, effectively “pressing” buttons on the remote (most ambitious project yet eeeeEE!). Redboard ATP seems like a perfect pairing as the voltage matches the remote’s lithium battery and current on completed circuits is less than 20ma, good for setting high/low connections with pins directly* (maybe). I finished “decoding” the remote and figured out what voltage polarity goes where and when to trigger the combinations needed. Cool!

Here’s a preview of current connections (no solder or power applied yet, can move things around):

Knowing that if things go up in smoke, replacements are affordable (it’s on me, thanks for exploring with me): Can the following pins all serve as digital HIGH/LOW? I’m guessing yes. They’ll all be either HIGH or LOW not both of course.

Thanks for the sanity check!

SparkFun team: “He’s insane. Ticket closed.”

Yep, all the pins can be used for GPIO H/L at 3.3V. Have fun!

Yeahhh! Thanks much!
