AS7331 Outputing UVA:2.66 UVB:2.95 UVC:1.30

I cured my A7331 in UV resin with some lengthy exposure to pretty high intensity UV light. The sensor has since stopped producing any meaningful data with it only outputing UVA:2.66 UVB:2.95 UVC:1.30 on repeat. I have the sensor connected via 3.3V and all the other connections work as well. I’m just no geting back meaningful data.

Whenever I disconnect the GND, I get UVA:87.66 UVB:97521.05 UVC:21463.28 on repeat.

Please let me know if there’s anything I can still do to make the sensor work.

What’s in the resin? How intense was the UV light exposure? I’d guess if nothing else was changed that perhaps the particular resin used either imparts some physical filtering/scattering or may be dielectric…when you disconnect GND it should become unpowered

In all likelihood it might be best to grab a new unit

I’ve connected the sensor to the arduino via I2C. Might that have had an impact on results?

I’ll look into the composition of the resin. The UV light exposure was intense enough to heat up the board significantly.
