I’m working with the RS-485 feature of the AST-CAN485 Dev Board and I’m wondering if the max baud rate has been benchmarked by SparkFun? The DS says that you can double the speed of the clock (UX2). Has anyone done this?
My project will involve longish cable runs (~100 ft) According to the bulletproof app note my cable length should allow up to 2M baud.

I’m realizing that I may need to switch my controllers to something faster like a SAM and use a RS485 converter with a higher power supply to get up in that baud range, but I’m curious about the UX2, and whether or not someone has been down this rabbit hole before.
