I recently jumped into microcontrollers with subject line equioment and an ATTiny2313. I had to add a six pin ISP header to the AVR-P20 so it would interface with the AVRISPII, which was no big deal.
Here’s my problem: I cannot get the AVRISPII to talk to the ATTiny2313. I get a reset pull-up resistor error. I’ve tried replacing the 10k pullup on the avr-p20 with a 10k and a 26k, to no avail. I’ve checked and doublechecked all my isp header connections, which all seem fine. What else can I do? The orange light on the AVRISPII will not stop flashing, except once in a while it reads green, then when I try to program the Attiny2313 via AVRstudio, I get the error, and it goes orange again. Please help, any suggestions would be appreciated.

OK, problem solved. Even though all my connections checked out, I decided to rewire the connector. Now it works! Thanks to me.
