I have enabled TCP server and TCP client on each rtk postcard, started base cast, connected rover and have IP and I cannot get better than DGPS shouldn’t I get a fix position similar to dialing into a NTRIP service?
Are they outside with a clear view of the sky?
yes my rtk postcard base is getting down into .23 territory connected to an L5 antenna. my rtk postcard rover shows connected to the rtk caster and has an IP. and the base is casting. Not sure why it’s not dropping into RTK mode. for reference using NTRIP from state service on my phone I have had my rover work flawlessly so I am now trying to figure out how to make a base. I plan to use Loraserial once I get JST 6 to 4 cables (ordered today). But figured I would test with short range wifi. I have both sitting next to each other in my yard.
Shouldn’t I be seeing the rover drop below 2m and down to mm like I do with a ntrip service? Maybe I’m missing one setting on basecast-rover setup. Hopefully once I get Lora serial jst cable I can just plug in and go.
@AORPLS
We are having similar issues using broadcasted NTRIP data from RTK2Go in terms of getting mm accuracy like we do from the RTK Expresses we have.
Any luck?
One thing I tweaked was the rtcm messages. I would think the default would be good to go. I am going to check again once I get LorA cables later this week. I was unable to do a static to opus on first try so hoping message tweaks help that too.
From reading my states real time network they send rcm 3.x extended so I’m not sure what message times need turned on in base mode. However I found another post where there was a list but haven’t had a chance to try.
