Batchpcb...concern about mirrored backside...

All-

I just uploaded a design that has a few components on the backside of the board.

On the application that I use, when you work on the bottom layer, you sort of look down ‘through’ the board at the bottom layer so that you can do the routing.

I just uploaded a design, and got a response from the DRC. The DRC-bot shows the bottom layer just as the application did…as though you are looking ‘through’ the board at the bottom instead of looking at the bottom from the bottom.

I don’t know how the actual PCB machine interprets these files. Does the machine mirror the underside and route correctly, or do I need to mirror the file myself?

The reason I ask is because in the DRC Bot image, the silk, IC Pins, and board characteristics are mirrored.

Do I need to re-upload a mirrored bottomside, or will my uploaded files be correct for the machine?

The files should look just as they did when you drew them. Some PCB houses ask for them mirrored, but most take them non-mirrored.

You got them back correctly.
